Zerg players have two standard openers: Spawning Pool and gas or a fast Hatchery. While lower-ranked players will sometimes go for the 6-pool and other types of cheese (such as the Zergling/Drone all-in vs other Zerg players), the fast Hatch or the fast gas are the standard builds.
